DAY AT SEA--TRANSIT THROUGH STRAIT OF GIBRALTAR

Wednesday, May 22nd
Veal Parmesan last night was wonderful.  Always nice to visit with Goren.  Forgot to take my little camera last night.  It does not get dark until about 10pm so had a nice view out the Compass Rose (dining room) window during dinner.
Now 9am with sunny skies and temperature of 62F outside.  Swells picking up now so ship is starting to move about.  We just finished breakfast from room service and a workout is on our agenda for later this morning.  Rebecca and Allison are planning to splurge at lunch today and have a big hamburger.  (She usually just has salad at lunch time)  The pool grill makes great hamburgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwiches.  Sweet potato fries are very good also.  Will just relax this afternoon.  At 5:45 there will be a "White Elephant" sale.  Cruise director will auction off items to raise money for the Crew Welfare Fund.  Last year we bought "dinner with 4 crew members of our choice in Compass Rose".  Not on the list this year though.  Dinner with Captain and Chief Engineer in Captain's quarters is on list.  It's a great cause so will be going.
Maybe you can blow this up to read it.

Today we are off the south east coast of Spain and will be going through the Strait of Gibraltar into the Atlantic Ocean sometime around 3am tomorrow.  Next stop will be port city of Cadiz, Spain.
                                                    Our position at noon today.

Couple of nice little yachts in Barcelona.

This is a Sheraton "W" hotel near port of Barcelona.
